Changing times

Hello

I sit here writing this post on the 2nd day of the 2nd lock down in the UK and listening to the radio to hear who will become the next president of the United States.

it’s a strange feeling , but one I’ve become accustomed to this year. Everything shifting and life how we knew it has disappeared. I’m trying to change with the changes and have made more of an effort to be online more, which surprisingly I’m enjoying .

The online shop is filling up and I currently have a framed print to giveaway over on my instagram account @obikodesign the competition will run until Friday 4th December. If you would like to enter, the post was on the 4th November the one with me in the video!

New to the shop are 2 contemporary hand painted Christmas cards, they come in a pack of 6 and both the card and envelope are recycled, so after the festive season is over you can put them onto the compost or put them back into the recycling chain.

Also, I can now offer  custom painted keepsakes. This idea came to me as I was asked to paint a friend’s favourite cup and saucer which her grandma gave to her.  It’s a lovely way of keeping a permanent record of an object which evokes great memories and is often kept in a draw or attic, so is never seen. It’s a thoughtful and unique gift which can be given to a family member, friends or yourself. To find out more about the keepsakes please click the link here

Lastly, I would like to say thank you for joining me here, until next month keep well.
